This one-hour presentation by

document the benefits and requirements of SR&ED and review the CRA’s
policies, forms, and approval procedures that he learned first-hand as a
Research & Technology Advisor within the the CRA’s SR&ED division
in Vancouver to determine eligibility of several hundred taxpayer’s
SR&ED claims for four years, and while
subsequently assisting more than 200 technology-based companies
during the past 22 years to obtain the CRA’s approval of over 550 SR&ED
claims.

Employed by the CRA from 1996 to 2000 to audit SR&ED claims in software, hardware, IT, and multimedia. Worked at IBM, Blackberry and NorthernTelecom, and founded 6 startups. Electrical Engineer MBA taught at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, University of Victoria, and research at the University of Waterloo.
